Alright. Back in Paris, but good god visiting the homeland (even if I did have to be in montana) was good. I've got a photoshoot on thursday which has got me more hopped up with anxiety than when my great aunt pearl first heard "milkshake" (bee tee duble yew Aunt = "aw-nt" or "ant"? I'm an ant person)

Finally found some A wang in paris so I'll be trekking over there tomorrow. The twice yearly soldes are going on now which greatly increases the chances that I'll be buying things when I go shopping. France has the most fucked up system where stores can't put shit on sale except twice a year. Which means that the only teeny brightside to this recession (crazy sales)doesn't happen here. Except maybe now. I went to the soldes last year and was highly unimpressed though.

Kitten didn't make it through Christmas day. I don't know really what to think yet but thanks for the sweet comments. Trying to get my life in order (and decide if i'm going to do this blog thing for real for reals or just not) and now with kitten gone everything is just shit. I go home for two weeks on the 28th which I think will be a good thing. Thats pretty much all. Merry christmas.

um ugh sorry to be so horrible about the postage - internet woes etc....however i'm really going through a bad time here because i took kitten to the vet because she seemed to be having some digestive troubles and they thought she'd eaten some paper or something. All seemed well and i was so psyched to have my kitten restored to health and happiness when they called me this morning and told me that she has actually an intestinal tumor. I"ve googled this shit and it seems operatable but french doctors are sorta shitty (sorry) and i'm worried they won't try to save her....example? doctor was suppose to call me at 6 pm (18:00) and tell me whats up. It is now 9:30 (21:30...I do this cuz im annoying) and no call. Boyfriend thinks all will be well but considering the doctor said "it's not good news" I can't help but be inclined to the not so good news side......
shes only 7 months old...how could this happen. Seeing as I'm not in school and other work occasionally (aka when I'm not too fat) she has become like my child. I spend 4 hours researching the best diet for her and then bought and ENTIRE rabbit to cut up for her. That shit, in case you don't know, takes about 20395209385 hours. no joke. anyway, i'm terrified. She's staying in the hospital at least until tomorrow.

OHH I wish someone had just been here with me for the last 20 minutes as I tried and failed hard to take a picture of what I was wearing today. It took about 13 snapshots of dark, grainy, flash-bleached-face/crackhoe pictures before I realized my apartment is insufficiently lit for night and that I'll have to record my fascinating outfit tomorrow. Needless to say, I wisely deleted all evidence. Shit gets around these days.

I recently started really loving Lara Stone. First off she's not like 12. I don't have issues with 12 year olds but it makes me feel old to see preteens modeling in Vogue. Next they're going to start chucking fetuses down the catwalk (am I the only one who watches AbFab?). Also I like dutch models. They seem like a peace loving tulip holding clan of fun. And I can say that because I lived in holland as a small child.

Not much of note (ahem besides Ms. "I'm best known as a bag") lately. Had an unfortunate Sunday night where it seemed wise to be bicycling while drinking. I distinctly remember not being able to steer straight and a few falls which could have been deadly had there been cars. I also distinctly remember something about a pole and a lot of old italien men. OH shame.

Finally, since my internet is so shitty (I'm praying it won't delete this post) I haven't been able to keep up with Gossip girl and ANTM. This needs to be remedied immeadiately. It's been too long since I've heard lil J say something angsty.

Still soo busy. Now that I have a washing machine I've been going crazy washing everything in sight. My parents are still here so I've been hanging out with them a lot. Went to marc by marc store today, bought a wallet and coin purse (heh) and a triblend tshirt. So glad to have marc back in my life. Also my internets really really bad which is putting a damper on this whole blog thing but I'll be posting like 625987340 times a day once this is remedied. Cuz I'm cool like that.

How does it feel to be a french tv superstar michelle? I was watching this show for about an hour the other night and they were just drooling over her. LOVE french tv.

So the Marc by marc store just opened here in Paris and it has been fucking bananas over there. Reportedly the parisiens can't get enough of the Marc love. I've been meaning to go over there and it might actually happen now that I live closer to the store. I have this deep inexplicable hate for the metro. I mean I end up taking it sometimes but I like to avoid it. Psyched for marcs cheap goods even though some of the stuff I got last year there has already broken but whatever. c'est pas grave y'all.

OH. But most importantly, I got a new apartment. I've been looking for 3 months because france is ridiculous and infuriating. But yeah it's pretttyyyy sick (um, sorry I've been talking too much to an ex boyfriend apparently) around saint germain. So thats good, have to unpack so much though and spruce up the place a little. Tragically this means I have to be without Kitten for a few days which is not ok and I don't know how she's going to sleep alone. Kitten has a tattoo. No joke. It's inside her ear.

So this blogging things kinda weird right? I mean I like it and all but you realize how bizarre it is when you try to explain to someone else that you read about other people everyday and then (if you're me) make rambling boring posts about your life.

Kitten is the cutest thing ever. Still unnamed, I'm concerned she's going to think her name is "little cat" forever. One drunken night I proclaimed to my boyfriend that her name would be "cuddle patches" to which he appropriately eyed me as a crazy. Her obsessions include pork and bananas and I'm pretty sure she thinks shes a little lion. It's difficult to take pictures of her though because shes so curious about the camera so I have to sneak up on her national geographic style.
